The main task of the staff unit is to fulfill the university's information and reporting obligations - both for internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to the classic instruments, statistics, input for structural planning and calculations within the framework of the Teaching Obligations Ordinance (LVVO), the current aim is to establish a quality management system, a comprehensive reporting system (IMS) and university controlling for the university.
Participation in the Equipment, Cost and Performance Comparison (AKL) of German universities and the CHE Ranking provides the staff unit with a very suitable basis for evaluating the university's performance by comparing benchmarks and indicators for the areas of teaching and research across universities and learning from each other (best practice).
