Faculty Lounge

Talking to each other on a regular basis

Since November 2022, the MLU Faculty Lounge has offered professors at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg the opportunity to regularly exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and to build and maintain networks with MLU colleagues across faculties. The idea for the MLU Faculty Lounge came from the Personnel Development Commission, which also sees it as a tool for integrating newly appointed professors. It takes place every first Wednesday of the month during the lecture period from 6-8 pm. There will be 2 events in the summer semester 2024:
On April 3, the Faculty Lounge is invited to the conference "Transformative Practice - Science, Transfer and Structural Change in the Central German Revier". Stakeholders from science and practice will discuss initial successes, promising innovations and future tasks relating to structural change in the region. The conference is organized by the Institute for Structural Change and Sustainability (HALIS) at MLU. Join us on the first day of the conference at Faculty Lounge meets Transformative Practice from 6 pm.
On June 5, there will once again be a wonderfully refreshing summer edition of the Faculty Lounge. As a so-called "Summer Edition", the evening will be a very special place to relax. Let us surprise you!
